　　凭借着《魔兽世界》的巨大成功，暴雪的年收入达到了令人发指的13.4亿美元，毫无悬念的占据了全球最强游戏开发商的宝座。“全球百强游戏开发商”是根据销售数据、关键成功和业界地位等进行综合排名的。暴雪击败了任天堂、Rockstar North（GTA系列）和EA Cananda等强手。同时暴雪目前还有另外4款游戏正在酝酿当中（SC2，D3，一款未公布名字的MMO和另外一个极密的开发项目），因此这“全球至尊”的地位可以说是难以撼动。

Occupying the number one slot is no surprise really with the steadfast success of World of Warcraft bolstering their annual revenues to an eye-watering .34 billion.According to Develop 100 the ranking is based on sales figures, critical success and their standing within the industry and with all these considered Blizzard outdo Nintendo Japan, Rockstar North (Grand Theft Auto), EA Canada (Need for Speed amongst their successes).They have four more games in production (Starcraft II, Diablo III, unannounced MMO and a top secret squirrel title they’re saying nothing about) so they have every chance of holding onto that distinction.
